Press Release

Jacada Teams With Oracle To Provide Non-Intrusive Legacy Integration Based on J2EE

ATLANTA, September 9, 2003 – Jacada Ltd. (NASDAQ: JCDA), the leading provider of legacy integration and Web-to-host solutions and active member in the Oracle PartnerNetwork, today announced that it has entered into a joint development and marketing agreement with Oracle Corp. Jacada Integrator will provide Oracle® Application Server customers with the ability to integrate valuable legacy applications with Oracle applications and infrastructure technology. In addition, Oracle consulting and pre-sales organizations can use Jacada Integrator to help Oracle customers build and deploy legacy integration solutions.

"Legacy systems continue to provide enterprises with valuable core business functions and our customers are looking for fast, effective and affordable ways to integrate this legacy functionality into their strategic e-business initiatives," said Thomas Kurian, senior vice president, Development, Oracle Application Server and Tools. "Jacada's legacy integration technology provides our customers with a powerful solution for achieving real-time integration between their legacy applications and applications running on Oracle Application Server."

The JCA resource adapter will enable Jacada to run seamlessly within the Oracle Application Server 10g environment and the previous version of the software, thus taking advantage of Oracle's robust implementation of the JCA standard. Oracle Application Server customers already have the ability to deploy legacy integration developed with Jacada Integrator as Enterprise Java Beans. Using either deployment method, customers will benefit from the rapid development and maintenance capabilities of Jacada Integrator and the unequalled functionality, scalability and performance of Oracle Application Server 10g.

"We are very excited to be working with the leading provider of enterprise software. This alliance with Oracle further extends Jacada's reach within the enterprise software community and provides Jacada with significant opportunity for new revenue based on Oracle Application Server's installed base," said David Holmes, executive vice president of Jacada. "Together, Jacada and Oracle offer our joint customers a robust, real-time legacy integration solution that provides significant benefits in terms of bridging the gap between the mission-critical data and business logic locked in legacy systems."
